BCG Bang Duong (BCDBD) and Hanwha Group (Hanwha) are planning to build a solar power plant in Thanh Hoa, Long An, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 100MW on 125ha of land. It includes the construction of a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of photo-voltaic panels, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
On June 22, 2017, BCDBD and Hanwha signed an agreement to develop the power plant.
As of July 2017, planning activities are underway.
Construction is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2018 and is scheduled to be complete by 2019.
