Hallam Land Management Ltd (Hallam) is planning to build a mixed-use complex in Irthlingborough, the UK.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on 52.5ha of land. It will be developed in four phases.
It includes the construction of 700 residential units on 20ha of land, 7.5ha of commercial space for business, industrial and storage use, parking and related facilities, and expansion of Huxlow Science College on 5.79ha of land.
The first phase includes the construction of 205 dwellings on 6.84ha of land and playing fields and college expansion on 7.11ha of land. The second phase includes 215 dwellings on 7.16ha, and development of open public space on 3.30ha. The third phase includes 140 dwellings on 4.80ha with open public space on 4.63ha, and the fourth phase includes 140 dwellings on 4.65ha of land.
On May 5, 2010, Hallam on behalf of BS Pension Fund Trustees Ltd (BSPS) filed a development application with East Northamptonshire Council (ENC).
FPCR Environment and Design Ltd has been appointed as architect and Turley Associates as planning consultant.
In September 2012, Hallam held meetings with East Northants Council and urban design representatives from the North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit (NNJPU).
In October 2012, Hallam held administrative meetings with ENC.
In February 2014, Hallam submitted the master plan to ENC for the proposed development.
In March 2014, Hallam submitted a revised environmental impact report (EIR) to ENC.
On November 24, 2014, outline planning application was approved.
Planning activities are underway.
