Heineken Vietnam Brewery Ltd (HVBL) is planning to expand a Brewery Plant in Huyen Tan Thanh, Vietnam.
The project involves the expansion of a beer production plant to increase the production capavity from 50 million liters per year to 610 million liters per year. It includes the construction of a production unit, a returnable bottle packaging line, an administrative office, a packing facility and a storage unit, and the installation of safety and security systems.
In July 2016, HVBL completed the acquisition of an old Carlsberg brewery plant.
In the third quarter of 2016, HVBL submitted a planning application to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
On February 6, 2017, the Government of Ba Ria–Vung Tau granted an investment certificate for the project.
Planning activities are underway.
