H Projects ApS (HPA) is planning to build a mixed-use complex in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
The project involves the construction of a 74,000m2 mixed-use complex comprising two towers. It includes the construction of a 37,000m2 retail store, 500-unit accommodation complex, 21,000m2 hotel, 35 car parking spaces, 2,330 bicycle parking places.
Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Dorte Mandrup Architects (DMA) have been appointed as architects.
BIG will design the towers accommodation complex and DMA will design the store and hotel.
The hotel will be operated by Cabinn Hotels and the store operated by IKEA.
In March 2016, HPA revealed the project plans.
On May 29, 2017, Copenhagen City Hall approved the planning application.
As of August 2017, design activities are underway.
Construction of the retail store is scheduled to be complete by 2019.
