The project involves the construction of a bridge from Ton Dan Street in District 4 to the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in District 2. It includes the construction of dividers, pedestrian ways and the installation of lights, sign broads and safety systems.

Study activities are underway. Construction on the project is expected to be completed by 2020.
