Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCBPL) is planning to undertake the bottling plant project in Karnataka, India.
The project involves the construction of a bottling plant on 101ha of land and will be developed in four phases.
It includes the construction of a manufacturing unit, a distribution center, an administrative facility, warehouse, parking area for load-carrying transport vehicles and the installation of safety and security systems.
State Government of Karnataka, through its industrial development arm, Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB), agreed to allocate land to HCCBPL for the project.
In January 2015, KIADB submitted plans to the Ministry of Environment and Forest for environmental clearance of Yadgir industrial area.
In January 2016, KIADB allotted 60.7ha of land for the development of the project.
HCCBPL awaiting final handover of land from the state government for the project implementation. Subject to the acquisition of land, construction works will commence.
