Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is undertaking a residential complex in Whitehill & Bordon, Hampshire, the UK.
The project involves the construction of a residential complex comprising 500 homes on 21ha of land. It will include the construction of retail facilities, parking, new relief road and related facilities development of employment space on 3ha of land, and the installation of elevators and safety systems. The project will be developed in phases.
The project received funding support from the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership.
In July 2014, HCA submitted a planning application to the East Hampshire District Council.
On September 29, 2014, HCA secured the planning approvals from East Hampshire District Council.
On September 28, 2015, construction works on the first phase of new relief road commenced.
As of February 2016, the demolition works for the 500 homes were completed.
Barton Willmore has been appointed as the design consultant. Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes has been appointed as the developer, where as Raymond Brown Construction and Carillion plc as the contractors for the Relief Road.
In the second quarter of 2016, construction works on 500 homes were commenced.
In October 2016, construction on the first phase of the relief road was completed.
On October 21, 2016, construction works on the second phase of the relief road commenced are underway and scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
