Grosvenor Estates (Grosvenor), a part of the Duke of Westminster’s property company is planning to develop a mixed-use facility in Greater London, the UK.
The project involves the redevelopment of the 4.85ha of land. It includes the construction of 1,500 new build-to-rent homes, 600-place secondary school, 10,219m2 public space, 1,858m2 play area, 7,896m2 retail, and leisure facility, office space, parking facility and the installation of elevators, security and safety systems.
In May 2013, Workspace Group secured planning consent for 800 homes from Southwark Council before the site acquisition.
AMEC Earth & Environmental has been appointed as an environmental consultant; Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners and Chris Horn Associates as planning consultants; Cundall as structural engineer; and Snapdragon Consulting and Ben Cave Associates Ltd as lead consultants.
Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has been appointed as the architect for the office space; Cottrell & Vermeulen as architect for the 600-place secondary school.
In 2015, Karakusevic Carson was appointed as lead architect and worked on the project for short time and then in September 2016, Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) was appointed as the architect for the project.
In June 2017, Grosvenor presented the draft master plan for the public consultation.
