Grand Traverse County Council (GTCC) and Traverse City Council (TCC) are jointly planning to redevelop the Park Place in Traverse City, Michigan, the US.
The project involves the redevelopment of a Park Place hotel and Governmental Center. It will be developed in four phases.
The first phase of the project includes the demolition and construction of Park Place Hotel's convention center with area 0.072ha, a pool and a fitness facility
The second and third phases of the project includes the construction of apartments, a parking garage with 400 spaces
The fourth phase of the project includes the construction of a mixed-use building, parking and other related facilities.
The project will receive US$20 million in tax increment financing (TIF) from the Downtown Development Authority (DDA).
Regency Midwest Ventures LP and Bender Midwest Development were appointed as developers for the project.
In February 2016, the project received approvals from the Traverse City Historic Districts Commission.
In January 2017, DDA board members reviewed the plan of the project.
