Greensboro Investments LLC (GI) is planning to undertake the construction of a mixed-use project in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use facility on 81ha of land to be developed in phases. It includes the construction of retail units, shops and lifestyle centers, restaurants, a hotel, grocery, a medical office, single and multi-family homes and other related facilities.
The first phase involves the construction of commercial facilities. Halsey Thrasher Harpole LLC (HTH) has been appointed as the associate developer.
The rezoning of application is submitted to the Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and expected to be considered on August 12, 2014.
Littlejohn Engineering Associates and Peters & Associates Engineering Inc were appointed as the planning and traffic consultants for the project.
On October 10, 2014, the project secured approval from the Jonesboro City Council for rezoning of Greensborough Village.
In July 2016, road plans for the site have been finalized.
As of August 2017, site clearance activities are underway.
