In 2012, GDC unveiled initial project plans.

In June 2015, GDC is in the process of submitting a planning application to the city council.

On June 13, 2017, groundbreaking ceremony held on the project.

Construction is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2017 and completed by the second quarter of 2018.
