The project includes the construction of a 217-room hotel comprising 78 to 94 floors, a 27,000m2 retail facility with 60 stores, a 2,600m2 conference facility, five restaurants, a 1,500m2 library, three to 55-floors office space, a lounge and 1,100-spot underground parking facility and other related facilities, and the installation of elevators, security and safety systems.

The hotel will be managed by Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

In May 2012, GCG acquired the required land for the project implementation after the negotiation with Addis Ababa City Council.

The project received planning approvals.

Pre-design activities are underway.
