Granton Central Developments Ltd (GCDL) is planning to undertake the construction of a mixed-use complex near Edinburgh, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community comprising a 317-berth marina, a 2,000-unit residential complex, a 123-bed spa-hotel, 104 retirement apartments, 9,220m2 of retail space, 4,220m2 of leisure facilities, 5,000m2 of commercial space, parking and related facilities.

Wilson+Gunn Architects has been appointed as architect, Paton Planning and Development as a planner and MDL Marinas Ltd as a marine consultant.

On January 5, 2015, GCDL submitted the updated plans.

As of August 2015, planning officers recommended council for the rejection of the project.

On December 22, 2015, project secured planning approvals from Edinburgh City Council.

The project secured approvals from Edinburgh City Council in August 2016.

In January 2018, GCDL secured detailed planning permission for the retirement living scheme with 104 units.

GCDL expects to secure detailed planning permissions for the remaining elements of the project by the second quarter of 2018 and commence construction by the third quarter of 2018.
