In August 2016, Anaheim hotel union seeks a public vote on tax incentives provided by planning Commission.

On October 17, 2016,The Anaheim City Council voted to put referendums on the November 2018 ballot that would revoke development agreement tax subsidies.

Construction is expected to commence in 2018 and to be completed by 2021.
