First Capital Realty (FCR) and Tridel (TRI) is planning to undertake the Etobicoke Humbertown redevelopment project in Ontario, Canada.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on a 3.6ha of land. It will be developed in two phases.

The second phase involves the construction 51,096m2 five commercial and residential buildings comprising condominiums, townhomes, a seniors' residential building, 1,495 parking spaces and other related facilities.

The project includes the construction of a grocery store, a liquor store, a drug store, restaurants, a child care facility and a fitness club.

IBI Group has been appointed as study consultant; Kirkor Architects & Planners and LGA Architectural Partners as architects and Scott Torrance Landscape Architect as landscape architect for the project.

Urban Strategies Inc. has been appointed as the lead consultant; BA Consulting Group Ltd, Halsall Associates and R.J. Burnside & Associates Ltd as the engineering consultant for the project.

In late 2013, the project received approval from City of Toronto.

In January 2014, the project received approval from the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB).

The project is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on a 3.6ha of land at 270 The Kingsway in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The US$300 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of apartments

2. Construction of townhouses

3. Construction of a grocery store

4. Construction of a liquor store

5. Construction of a drug store

6. Construction of restaurants

7. Construction of a child care facility

8. Construction of a fitness club

9. Construction of 1,495 parking spaces
