Events DC is in the process of seeking a zoning text amendment approvals and simultaneously in the process of issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for a designer and construction contractor for the first phase and planning activities on the market hall and the sports complex are underway. Subject to approvals, construction works on the first phase is scheduled to commence by the fourth quarter of 2018 with completion scheduled by the second quarter of 2019.
A request for expressions of interest for development partners for the market hall and the sports complex is scheduled to be issued by the second quarter of 2019 with construction completion of the market hall by 2020 and the complex by 2021.Scope
