Summary

Eustream AS (Eustream) is planning to build a natural gas pipeline from the Slovakia-Ukraine border to the Bulgaria-Turkey border.

The project involves the construction of pipeline of length between 832km-1,015km with an estimated capacity of 20 billion m3 per annum in two phases. It includes the construction of storage tanks, pumping units and control junctions and the installation of valves, control systems, safety systems and power-related facilities.

In October 2016, Bulgaria and Slovakia have signed an agreement to provide joint financing for the project.

In November 2016, Eustream submitted an application for European Commission’s grant from Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) fund to co-finance feasibility study.
