On October 18, 2013, a development application was submitted to the Etobicoke York Community Council.
In May 2014, a public community consultation was held for the project proposals.
In June 2015, Mystic Pointe residents opposed the project plans at the Etobicoke York Community Council meeting.
On July 8, 2015, Prehearing meeting was held.
The city also participated in mediation on October 1, 2 and October 28, 2015.
On January 20, 2016, Toronto City Council held a second Prehearing meeting. Etabbey confirmed that he will be submitting an amended proposal for approval on January 29, 2016 for review.
On March 31 and April 1, 2016, Toronto City Council authorized the City Solicitor to appear at the Ontario Municipal Board in support of a settlement based on the revised proposal.
On April 25, 2016, the Ontario Municipal Board issued an Order allowing the appeal and set a hearing date of July 11, 2016 to finalize the plans.
