Energy 3 doo Mostar (Energy 3) is planning to undertake a wind park in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project involves the construction of a 48MW wind park. It includes the construction of a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of 16 wind turbines of 3MW capacity each and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
In September 2014, Energy 3 applied for an environmental permit for the development of the project.
On August 02, 2016, Bosnia and Herzegovina Government has given concession to Energy 3 for the land and construction of wind farms. The concession will be applicable for the period of 30 years from the date of commencement of concession.
In September 2016, International Financial Corporation (IFC) has been appointed as financial advisor for the project. The service includes assessment of risks in electricity market for sale of electricity and price forecast.
Planning activities on the project are underway. Construction will take three years to complete.
