Emaar Properties PJSC (Emaar) is planning to construct residential towers in Dubai, the UAE.
The project involves the construction of two residential towers comprising a 41-story tower with 284 residential units and a 71-story tower with 505 units.
It will include the construction of a gym, a swimming pool, a sauna, a squash court, a Jacuzzi, a children's pool, a nursery, sun terraces, 12,000m2 of museum space at the podium levels, a clubhouse, a fitness center, a multi-purpose room, and parking and related facilities, and the installation of elevators, and safety and security systems.
Nikken Sekkei Ltd has been appointed as an architect; WSP Consultant as a design consultant and MEP engineer; and International Foundation Group (IFG) as the foundation works sub-contractor.
M/S Aecom middle east limited consultant has been appointed as the subcontractor; the scope of work includes shoring (Diaphragm Wall)a-piling and excavation.
The early construction activities on the project commenced in the third quarter of 2016, and a no objection certificate was secured in November 2016.
As of August 2017, more than 80% of shoring and piling works completed.
Shoring and Piling activities are currently underway and main construction is expected to be completed in December 2019.
