The project involves the construction of an 80MW hydroelectric power plant. On September 26, 2014, Eidsiva awarded a US$64 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to Skanska AB.

In October 2014, construction works commenced.

In November 2014, Rainpower ASA awarded supply contract to delivery of three Francis turbines, including the main shut-off valves, turbine, Penstocks, bypass system and associated mechanical equipment.

Construction activities are underway.
