EU Energy Corp (EU) is undertaking the development of Copper, Molybdenum, Nickel, Uranium, Vanadium and Zinc mine in Ostersund, Jamtland, Sweden.
The project involves the development of Copper, Molybdenum, Nickel, Uranium, Vanadium, and Zinc mine on 24,000ha of land with a production capacity of 21MTPA of ore. It includes the construction, development, and operation of the surface open pit and underground coal mine and associated infrastructure.
The project includes the construction of access roads, electrical power transformers and power distribution, general mine infrastructure, administrative buildings, the relocation of some existing roads and other related facilities.
DENM Engineering Ltd, EHA Engineering Ltd, GeoVista AB, Golder Associates AB, Hatch Ltd., Lawrence Consulting Ltd and P&E Mining Consultants Inc. have been appointed as consulting.
On February 28, 2017, CPM transferred the ownership of the mine to EU.
As of June 2017, study activities are underway.
