Equis Group (EQUIS), through its subsidiaries Redaya Energi and PT Energi Bayu Jeneponto is undertaking the construction of a wind farm in Jeneponto, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The project involves the construction of a 72MW wind farm. It will include the construction of a substation and access roads, the installation of 20 turbines each 3.6MW, installation of generators and transformers, and the laying of 150kv transmission lines.

On February 24, 2017, EQUIS signed an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and an operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts with Siemens Group and PT Siemens Indonesia in Consortium with PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk.

In July 2017, Siemens Gamesa has secured an order from Equis Energy to supply 20 gearless SWT-3.6-130 wind turbines with 3.6 MW each for the project.

Construction is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017 and scheduled to be complete by 2018.
