Envo Biogas Aabenraa A/S (Envo) is undertaking the bio-gas plant project in Aabenraa, Denmark.
The project involves the construction of a biogas plant. It includes the construction of gas storage tanks, pipelines, fermenter tanks, dryer unit, onsite pipeline, manure unit and related infrastructure.
In July 2014, Per Aarsleff A/S (PAALB) was appointed as design-build contractor for the project.
PAALB will undertake the civil engineering work, including earthwork and concrete work. Wicotec Kirkebjerg, a subsidiary of PAALB, will undertake the technical installation works including electricity, pipe works, and processing plant.
LimnoSun GmbH has been appointed to provide the process technology for the project while Grontmij appointed as the building consultant.
On November 25, 2015, the contract with Per Aarsleff A/S) was terminated and Evo group initiated a partnership with Sweco A/S for the construction of the power plant.
Construction works on the project are underway.
