OOO Ecology-Novosibirsk (EN) is planning to develop the waste treatment complexes in the villages of Verkh-Tula and Razdolnoye in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia.
The project involves the construction of two waste treatment complexes with an annual capacity of 600,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of solid waste, waste treatment units, storage facilities, administrative buildings, waste disposal facilities, landfills and access roads and the installation of waste crushing machinery and power-related facilities.
The total value of the two complexes is US$64 million, of which US$20 million is expected to be funded by company's own funds, US$12 million is to be borrowed from other sources and US$32 from leasing.
An in-house division of EN will be responsible for design and construction.
The project is facing delay due to protest from the local residents.
