Energiekontor UK Ltd (EKT), a subsidiary of the Energiekontor Group, is undertaking the construction of a wind farm in Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, the UK.
The project involves the construction of a 25MW wind farm comprising 10 turbines on 260ha of land. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of transformer and power control units, and the laying of transmission lines.
EKT has submitted a scoping report for the project to South Kesteven District Council.
On January 23, 2015, EKT has reduced the turbine number and height for its planned wind farm on Fulbeck Airfield, so now it expects to install 25 MW of capacity.
EKT initially intended to install 13 turbines with a height of 126.5m with a combined capacity of between 26MW and 32.5MW. It has now trimmed its proposal to only 10 turbines of up to 110m.
In April 2017, South Kesteven District Council has rejected the project plans.
