East Kent Opportunities (EKO), a joint venture between Kent County Council and Thanet District Council, in partnership with Rosefarm Estates Plc (RE) are planning to build a mixed-use community in Ramsgate, Kent, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community on 23.8ha of land. It includes the construction of 550 residential units, a 63,000m2 of commercial complex comprising a 54,534m2 of business space, a 7,989m2 car showroom, a 4,200m2 district center with 1,997m2 retail space, a 994m2 healthcare and community facilities, parking and related facilities.

An outline planning application (OPA) was submitted by EKO to Thanet District Council (TDC) on November 9, 2011 which was refused by TDC on October 23, 2013 due to the zoning issues.

In 2014, EKO submitted revised OPA and held public consultation in August 2014.

In October 2014, TDC approved the OPA.

Detailed planning activities are underway.
