Dongmun Greentec (Dongmun), a subsidiary of Dong Mun IRS Co. Ltd, is planning to undertake the construction of an ethanol plant in Deniliquin, New South Wales, Australia.

The project involves the construction of an ethanol plant with an annual production capacity of 115 million liters per annum (MLPA) of ethanol and 92,000 tons of dried distilled grain on 147.18ha of land and being implemented in two stages.

The first stage includes the construction of an ethanol plant with an investment of US$52 million.

The project includes the construction of grain storage silos, a waste water treatment facility, a waste crushing unit, storage tanks, a cooling unit, processing units, warehouses and related infrastructure, and the installation of machinery and safety systems.

In December 2013, Dongmun submitted a planning application for the project to the Department of Planning and Infrastructure, New South Wales.

On July 1, 2016, Department of Planning & Environment approved the plans.

Dongmun is in the process of securing necessary approvals for the project implementation. Subject to the necessary approvals, construction works on the first stage are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2017 with completion scheduled by 2018.
