The Department of Transport and Main Roads (DoTMR) is planning to undertake the Landsborough to Nambour rail corridor project in Australia.
The project involves upgrade, realignment and duplication of approximately 22km of the north coast line between Landsborough, Mooloolah, Eudlo, Palmwoods, Woombye and Nambour.
It includes the construction of a double-track railway line, and the installation of signal lights, and electrical and fire fighting equipment.

In March 2008, The feasibility studies on the project commenced.
Public consultation on draft terms of reference for Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was held from July 05, 2008 to August 04, 2008.
Public consultation on EIS was held from July 13, 2009, to August 24, 2009.
Public consultation on supplementary EIS was held from August 30, 2010, to October 11, 2010.
In October 2010, The supplementary EIS for the project was submitted.
In November 2011, Coordinator-General's report on EIS was released.
On August 31, 2012, the taking of land notice was issued by Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Planning activities are underway and the construction is scheduled to be complete by 2031.
