It includes the construction of two loop tracks, a covered loading barn, loading and unloading facilities, 15-truck unloading bays, three storage tanks and related infrastructure, the installation of equipment and safety systems.
Dakota Gold received a conditional use permit and rezoning of the site for industrial use from the Mountrail County Commission.
Dakota Gold is currently working with various midstream companies to develop gathering connections to the Plaza Terminal. Dakota Gold is also in discussions with various pipeline companies to develop outbound pipeline service from the Plaza Terminal to multiple pipeline markets.
The project is facing delay due to opposition from local residents.
