Dun West Properties Limited (DWP) is undertaking the construction of a residential complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The project involves the construction of a 23-story tower with a three-story podium and an eight-story building comprising 375 units with a gross floor area of 25,211m2 on 5,853m2 of land.

It includes the construction of 24,745m2 of residential space, 466m2 of retail space, 242 vehicle parking spaces in the two level of underground parking garage, 288 bicycle parking spaces and other related facilities.

Lormel Homes has been appointed as developer and E.I Richmond Architects Ltd as architect for the project.

On September 21, 2010, and June 21, 2011, a pre-application consultant meeting was held.

On October 20, 2011, a community meeting was hosted by the local Councillor and discussed on eight-story building on Dundas Street West and a 29-story building on the eastern portion of the property adjacent the railway. Concerns were raised against the building's height and traffic.

On November 29, 2011, Lormel submitted the project plans to the council with a proposal of nine-story mixed-use building on Dundas Street West with commercial uses at grade, a three-story link building and a 26-story tower.

On June 11, 2012, a consultant meeting was held and the project plans were revised to eight-story building and a 23-story tower.

On November 1, 2012, a revised zoning application was submitted to the Ontario Municipal Board.

On March 19, 2014, OMB granted the zoning permits for the project.

Scope

The project involves the construction of a 23-story tower on a three-story podium and a eight-story building comprising 375 units with a gross floor area of 25,211m2 on 5,853m2 of land in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The US$70 million project includes the following:
