DTE Energy (DTE) is planning to undertake the construction of a gas-fired power plants program in Michigan, the US.
The project involves the construction of 1,100MW gas-fired power plant, powerhouses and substations, the installation of generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
In September 2016, DTE unveiled the plans to build a natural gas-fired power plant to replace three aging coal-fired plants.

In August 2017, DTE Energy filed a certificate of necessity with the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) for permission to the project.
