Summary

Dutch Sustainable Energy Group B.V. 2e Exloermond (DSE), Raedthuys Groep BV (Raedthuys) and Windpark Oostermoer Exploitatie B.V. (WOE) are planning to construct a wind farm in Drenthe, the Netherlands.

The project involves the construction of a 150MW wind farm. It will include the construction of a substation, access roads, a control building and wind tower foundations, the installation of 45 wind turbines, transformers, wind towers and generators, and the laying of transmission lines.

Pondera Consult BV has been appointed as environmental impact assessment (EIA) consultant.

In June 2011, the EIA procedure commenced.

In February 2015, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA), after consultation with the Province (or Municipality) of Drenthe and promoters initiated the process for the integration plan for wind farm.

On September 19, 2016, MoEA decided to lapse a row of five wind turbines. Therefore, the total size of the wind farm is reduced to 45 wind turbines.

Subsequently, DSE, Raedthuys and WOE, announced that the proposed development is available for inspection from October 7, 2016 to November 18, 2016.

In this period, the developers permit the local community who has submitted an opinion on the draft land-use plan, lodge an appeal with the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State.

As of February 6, 2017, decision from state council is in pending and construction is slated to complete by 2020.
