Dan Ryan Builders (DRB) is undertaking the construction of a residential community in Charles Town, West Virginia, the US.
The project involves the construction of single-family residential community comprising 203 units on 44ha of land. It will be developed in phases.
First phase consists of 20 residential units on 8ha of land and the second phase consists of 26 residential units on 6.4 ha of land.
It also includes the construction of a community center, rain gardens, retail space, parking space and related facilities.
In 2012, Jefferson County Planning Commission has given approvals for the first phase.
Gates Associates Inc. will act as surveyor and the engineer for the project.
In May 2015, Jefferson County Planning Commission held a public consultation on the project plans and it has approved.
In March 2017, DRB commenced the construction works.
Grading works on the first phase and the second phase is underway as of March 2017.
Construction activities on the first phase are underway and site grading works on the second phase are underway as of August 2017.
Main construction activities on the second phase are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017 or early 2018. DRB is also proposing five phases, however, the plans are yet to be finalised.
