The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is planning to undertake the Sta. Monica-Lawton Avenue Bridge project in Philippines.
The project involves the construction of a bridge in phases. Phase one of the project envisions a bridge from Sta. Monica Street in Kapitolyo, Pasig City, to Lawton Avenue, Makati. Phase two will run from Lawton to the BGC viaduct, then from Shaw Boulevard to the Sta. Monica viaduct.
The project will include the construction of elevated roads, bridge, supporting walls, carriageways, service roads, road separators, and other related infrastructure.
In January 2014, DPWH received approval from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Metro Manila Council (MMC).
In November 2016, project secured approval from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) to invite tenders, however, the project is still awaiting the approval of the Central Office Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) of the DPWH.
