National Natural Gas System Operator SA (DESFA) is undertaking the construction of Revithoussa Third LNG Storage Tank project in Greece.
The project involves the construction of a storage tank with a capacity of 95,000m3. It includes the construction of storage facilities, gas-processing facilities, fire extinguishers and safety systems, the laying of pipelines.
On June 19, 2013, J&P-Avax SA was appointed as EPC contractor with contract value US$131 million.
C&M Engineering S.A. and Whessoe Engineering Ltd have been appointed as a Consulting Engineer. The scope of Whessoe is detailed engineering and site supervision.
In November 2015, European Investment Bank(EIB) provided US$45 million loan.
Construction works are underway and expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
