DC Partners Inc (DCP) and Universal Service Group (USG) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use tower in Texas, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 20-story, 31,308m2 mixed-use tower on 0.26ha of land. It includes the construction of 162 hotel rooms, 58 condominiums and five penthouse suites, spa, rooftop bar, 334m2 ballroom, restaurant, outdoor pool, and seven levels of parking spaces.
Powers Brown Architecture has been appointed as architect, Thompson Hotels a management contractor, Tianqing Real Estate Development LLC as the associate developer and Amass & G as an interior designer.
In March 2016, Powers Brown Architecture submitted project plans to the San Antonio City Council and the project received conceptual approval.
The hotel will be managed by Two Roads Hospitality.
On July 11, 2017, Jordan Foster Construction has been appointed as a contractor for the project.
The project is being financed partially through a US$10 million incentive package awarded in August 2017, by the Center City Housing Incentive Policy program.
On January 30, 2018, construction commenced on the project with a groundbreaking ceremony.
Construction is slated for completion in 2019.
