Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is planning to construct an armoury center in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The project involves the construction of a new two level armoury with an 11,000m2 of floor space, comprising office spaces, classrooms, minor industrial function area, ammunition storage chambers, weapons storage chambers and other related facilities.

The project also includes a 600m of steam piping between the Central Heating Plant in Windsor Park and the new Armoury in Willow Park.

In April 2014, Strum Consulting and Bird Construction team has been appointed to design and construct the project.

Strum will provide detailed civil design works which includes sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water and steam heating services, grading plans, demolition works and site parking layouts for the project.

In October 2015, the early design work on the project was completed.

DCC is waiting for construction approvals.
