In May 2016, the proposed site was designated as suitable for fast-track planning permission.

On January 24, 2017, the Draft Poolbeg West Planning Scheme was placed on public display by DCC.

The developers are awaiting draft plan approvals.

Scope

The Poolbeg West project involves the construction of a mixed-use community comprising up to nine-story blocks 50m in height consists of 3,500 homes on 34ha of land in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland.
