Cypress Equities (Cypress) is undertaking the construction of the Paseo Colorado mixed-use complex in Los Angeles County, California, the US.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex comprising two buildings. It includes the construction of a six-story, 186-room hotel on the south end of the site along East Green Street and a six-story mixed-use building with 78 condominiums and 2,323m2 of retail and restaurant space on the north end of the site, along East Colorado Boulevard. It also includes the upgrade of a shopping center.

BonTerra Psomas (BTP) has been appointed as the environmental consultant and RTKL Associates Inc. as the architect.

Ensemble Real Estate Services, LLC has been appointed as developer for Hyatt hotel.

The hotel will be operated by Hyatt Hotels Corporation under its Hyatt Place brand.

In July 2013, Pasadena Design Commission (PDC) reviewed the proposed plans.

BTP submitted a noise and vibration impact analysis report on the development in August 2014.

In September 2014, Pasadena City Council (PCC) granted a conditional permit for the project.

On November 17, 2014, PCC approved the final project plans.

In 2015, Demolition works completed on the project site.

In January 2016, Cypress Equities acquired the Paseo Colorado mixed use development project from Developers Diversified Realty Corporation (DDR).

Construction works on the Hyatt hotel and are underway with completion scheduled by the fourth quarter of 2018.
