City of Port Coquitlam (CoPC) is undertaking the construction of a recreation complex in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.

The project involves the construction of a 19,045m2 recreation complex on 2ha of land. It will be developed in two phases.

The first phase is further divided into three parts.

The first part includes the construction of one ice-sheet with its construction work expected to commence in June 2017 and scheduled to be completed by January 2019.

The second part includes the construction of a second ice sheet and a library with its construction work expected to commence in August 2017 and scheduled to be completed by April 2019.

The third part includes the construction of a leisure pool, a fitness center, a games room, a lounge and a kitchen with its construction work expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2017 and scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019.

The second phase includes the demolition of existing facility and is further divided into three parts.

The first part includes the construction of the third sheet of ice with its construction work expected to commence in March 2019 and scheduled to be completed by 2020.

The second part includes the construction of underground parking for 400 vehicles with its construction work expected to commence in August 2019 and scheduled to be completed by November 2020.

The third part includes the construction of a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, a cafe and other amenities with its construction work expected to commence in October 2019 and scheduled to be completed by June 2021.

Ventana Construction Corporation won the design-build contract to build the project.

Architecture 49 has been appointed as the architect.

On March 17, 2017, a ground breaking ceremony was held on the project.
