City of Hattiesburg (CoH) and Southern Mississippi Investment Co. Inc (SMI) are planning to build a public safety Building in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the US.

In April 2015, a community consultation meeting was held.
On January 5, 2016, COH approved US$32 million funds without interest.
On July 18, 2016, A councilors meeting was held to discuss different financing options for increased project finance from US$32 to US$38 million in May 2016.
On January 6, 2017, A councilors meeting was held and the project value is increased to US$44 million from US$38 million.
CoH is waiting for the finance to start the project. The construction is expected to take three years to complete.
