City of Charleston (CoC) is planning to construct an international museum in Charleston, South Carolina, the US.

Moody-Nolan Inc. and Antoine Predock Architect have been appointed as architects.
In November 2015, Boeing has donated US$0.5 million to the project.
The City of Charleston and Charleston County has agreed to donate US$12.5 million, the state has allocated US$14 million, and US$5 million in private funds has been raised.
International African-American Museum expects another US$11 million from the state over the next few years.
As of August 2016, CoC is in the process of securing funds. The project already secured conceptual approvals.
Construction activities are scheduled to commence by 2018 and slated for completion by the end of 2019 or first quarter of 2020.
