Club Med, Vacances Cap Skirring SA (Vacap), Fonds Souverain d’Investissements Stratégiques Sénégalai (FONSIS) and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations du Sénégal (CDC) are planning to build a resort in Nianing, Petite Côte, Senegal.
The project involves the construction of a resort on 30ha of land. It includes the construction of a 350-room hotel comprising 1,000 beds, restaurants, a bar, a swimming pool, parking and related facilities.
Funding for the project recommended by the Dakar Impaxis Capital and also supported by BOAD and CBAO Attijariwafa Bank Group.
On August 21, 2015, Club Med signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Senegal for the project.
JB Services has been appointed as architect and contractor for the project.
