Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd (CVPP), a joint venture of NHPC Ltd, Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation and PTC India Ltd, is planning to build a power plant in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
The project involves the construction of a 480MW hydropower plant. It includes the construction of a powerhouse, control rooms, a substation, access roads and related infrastructure, the installation of generators, turbines and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
