The project involves the construction of three five-story student housing complex comprising 225 apartments with 750 beds on 3.4ha of land.
It includes the construction of a 1374m2 clubhouse with outdoor basketball court and swimming pool, study rooms, game rooms, a computer lab, a theater room, a fitness center, a lounge, an innovation center, a 1021m2 commercial building, 444 parking spaces and related facilities.
AMCAL Housing and Coleraine Capital Group have been appointed as associated developers and Humphreys & Partners has been appointed as an architect. AMCAL Housing in-house division is responsible for the construction works.
In March 2016, CSU submitted the project proposals to Sacramento City Council.
In June 2016, the City of Sacramento, Community Development Department reviewed the project plans.
In January 2017, CSU secured US$22.5 million equity funding from Anchor Real Estate Capital and US$50 million from JPMorgan Chase.
In March 2017, ground breaking ceremony held.
Construction activities are underway and slated for completion by August 2018.
