The Cochin Port Trust (CPT) is planning to undertake the Vallarpadam ICTT project in Kochi, Kerala, India.

The first phase includes the construction of a 1 million TEUs annually container trans-shipment terminal. The terminal will be extended to 1.5 million TEUs annual capacity in the second phase and to 4 million TEUs annual capacity in the third phase.
The project is being developed under a public-private partnership on Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis for a concession period of 30 years.
