COR Development Company, LLC (CORDC) is undertaking the construction the Syracuse Inner Harbor Mixed-Use Development project in New York, the US.

The in-house division of CORDC is undertaking the construction.

Dalpos Architects & Integrators (DAI) has been appointed as an architect, QPK Design as the master planner and Empire Housing & Development has been appointed as associate developer for the project.

CORDC awarded the management contract to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (SHRW) to operate the hotel under Aloft brand.

In June 2014, CORDC secured approvals for the Aloft hotel from Syracuse Planning Commission.

On July 10, 2014, construction works on Aloft hotel commenced.

On July 12, 2016, construction works on Aloft hotel completed.

On October 6, 2016, CORDC received building permits for the Element hotel and commenced the initial site works.

Site preparatory works on the Element hotel are underway.

Scope

The project involves the construction of mixed-use complex on an 11ha area in Inner Harbor, Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, the US.

The US$350 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a Aloft 134-room hotel

2. Construction of an Element 123-room hotel

3. Construction of two four-story with 54-unit apartments each

4. Construction of 80-condominium units

5. Construction of a 13,935m2 academic campus

6. Construction of three-story office buildings

7. Construction of a community boathouse

8. Construction of parking facilities
