Central Group (CNG) is planning to construct a residential facility in Prague, Czech Republic.
The project involves the construction of five high-rise residential buildings with around 570 apartments. The project includes the construction of a fitness center, a swimming pool, retail units and 508 parking units, and the installation of elevators, safety and security systems. The project is coming up in two stages.
Stage 1 involves the construction of 330 apartments and the stage 2 involves around 238 apartments.
In August 2012, CNG acquired the project with building permit from Hochtief Development. On July 3, 2014, CNG announced a design competition for the architectural companies to compete on the project proposal with September 8, 2014 as the submission deadline.
On September 17, 2014, CNG invited 11 studios to submit their final renderings. The final eleven studios for the competition are Radan Hubicka, AP Atelier, Cigler Marani Architects, A.D.N.S., Aulík Fišer Architekti, CMC, Šafr Hájek, Kuba & Pilar Architekti, Petr Hlavácek and ADR.
AP Atelier and ing+sarch was selected as the design contractor.
Design activities are underway and the developer is in the process of seeking approvals for the modification.
Construction works are expected to commence in 2018 and to be completed in 2021.
