Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) is undertaking the construction of the East Village Central Library project in Alberta, Canada.

On November 5, 2013, Foster + Partners and Independent Architects were appointed as architects; Snøhetta + DIALOG as a design consultant; MHPM Project Managers Inc. as project manager; and Stuart Olson Dominion Construction as a construction contractor.
StructureCraft Builders Inc. has been appointed to manufacture and supply high-quality wooden soffit panel which will interface with the glass façade.
On December 3, 2014, Aconex has been chosen to manage design and construction of the project. The scope of the project covers management of project information and processes, including drawings, documents, communications, and workflows.
On September 30, 2015, construction work commenced and are underway with completion scheduled for November 2018.
